Another con comes and goes.  This year we premiered DeathNote as Near, Mello, and Matt.  While my outfit is simple since its all white and rather plain.  Mello and Matt's was much more interesting to make.  *sekia13san made the Mattie vest as a birthday present for =Circe-Baka.  For Sekia I made her Mello vest, short thing that it is, from scratch.  Lemme tell you that was a fun experience! I've only altered clothing and making one from the bottom up was a lot of fun :3  Sekia made the Matt vest as I mention and after much trial and effort it came out looking splendid! For her first costume its pretty spectacular!

Of course we hit the waterpark when we got to the Kalahari, always do, its tradition for us on Thursday evening to go swimming.  With Circe's new contacts in she was actually able to see everything xD While there I realized I was of age to get a drink, though I didn't,  I'm not too fond of drinking.  I tend to forget sometimes that I'm actually 21 now. I still feel like I'm 18 at times.  Though I suppose that's a good thing, right?  After swimming we went down in pajama's.  *sekia13san wore a chocolate addict shirt with M&M pants.  =Circe-Baka wore a Mario shirt and some small pants, a running joke saying that Matt has a lucky pair of pants since he was little he wears.  Mine was pretty much the same xD Save for it was from Victoria's Secret. Yes Near shops there the little pervert that he is!

During the con my little Shogun Megazord (whom I call Shosho) got more attention than we did! XD This irked Circe and Sekia since we put a lot more effort into these costumes than previous ones.  I however found it extremely amusing.  Little thing isn't even animated and he got rape face stared at by all the boys! I was afraid at one point that one of the guys was gonna steal it from me.  Glad I never set it down for long or handed it off to people I knew didn't give a hoot. We didn't see too many cosplays, though there was an amazing Trap!Cloud from FFVII there. He amused me >3  He had a wonderful wig and costume and acted all shy when people took his picture.  It seemed like this year there were more people just running around with various bits of costumes.  

We played our first round of Death Note Mafia this year too.  I never understood how the heck that game worked.  Now I find it rather interesting.  Not to mention our Mello and myself got the cards that we were cosplaying as!  Twas a fun game and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

In the Dealers room I got myself two new plushies >w< I'm a fiend I know.  I bought myself a Piplup and was given a Snivy from Circe :3 Since when we finally cosplay Pokemon I would be Touya (Black) and would need the Pokemon that he's seen with.  Also we got a better Death Note book! It has far more instructions in it and there is a lot more writing. Which to my utter pleasure I realized I could read! Go Japanese Minor! >:3  

=Circe-Baka purchased a small plush toy of... someone.  I'm not sure who or what its from, but it's going to become a Walter in the near future!  There's not much to alter though, luckily!  I just need to make a small shirt, pants, and shoes for him and he'd be complete.  I'll be sure to post the alteration up once I've finished him.  The con was great, if a little slow this year, not sure why but its always fun to see friends that we've met and talk with them!!!
